2020 Covid-19 Information

We are currently in an un-precedented time and we are doing all that we can to ensure your safety while here on holiday at Chynhale Barns.

What we are doing

  • Providing soap bars, instead of handwash gel in plastic containers
  • Providing dish washer tabs, but not washing up liquid
  • Removing all books and magazines for the time being
  • Providing you with a new, disposable information pack, including information leaflets and discounts off local attractions throughout Cornwall
  • The general advice is a NO to home-baked scones, which we would usually provide, we will however be sourcing local treats instead for you to enjoy on arrival
  • Washing all laundry on a recommended 60-degree wash
  • Deep cleaning your cottage between each new guest, this includes ‘fogging’ to ensure a thorough clean

What we would like you to do

  • Wash your hands regularly
  • If using the secure, fenced dog exercising meadow, please only use the main double and single gates. Do not enter or exit through the side gate (to the left of the stream)
  • If you display any symptoms of Covid-19 while on holiday, then you MUST leave the cottage and return home immediately
  • On your day of departure, we would appreciate it if you would put all cutlery (clean or dirty), and as much crockery as possible into the dishwasher and turn it on
  • Also, on the day of departure, please strip the beds and put all bedding (including mattress and pillow protectors), towels, tea towels in the plastic bucket which will be put outside your cottage on the day before your departure
  • On the day of departure, open all windows and doors
  • Leave the cottage by 9.30am, ensuring we have long enough to deep clean before our next guests
  • Relax and enjoy your holiday
